ARE WILLOW MOON FARM INGREDIENTS ALL NATURAL?

The ingredients in Willow Moon Farm products are all naturally-occurring and derived from premium, traceable sources. This also means that the list of ingredients used in our products are easily read and identified in the natural world. The only ingredient used that is not natural would be the preservative used in our goat's milk lotion which is still paraben free! I must use a strong preservative to preserve the milk in the lotion or else it will spoil. The majority of my products are preservative free but other than the goat milk lotion all other lotions & creams are made with an all natural preservative that is plant derived.



DOES THIS MEAN WILLOW MOON FARM PRODUCTS ARE ORGANIC?

Organic is a term used in relation to food, to identify food that is free of chemical fertilisers, genetic-modification and additives such as preservatives and colourings. Increasingly, the term “organic” is being applied to skincare, though the definition for “organic” skincare is vague. Willow Moon Farm's guarantee however, is that our products do not contain mineral oil, parabens, fillers, artificial colourants and fragrances (other then some of our soy candles). I use 90% organic ingredients in my skincare products. The majority of the oils, butters, waxes, essential oils, etc. are certified organic and fair trade. The plant allies used are either grown here Certified Naturally Grown, ethically wildcrafted, or purchased certified organic as a last resort. I must use a preservative in the lotions and creams to prevent bacteria and mold. My go to is an all natural preservative that gives the life of the product 3-6 months depending on care given. Keep out of direct sunlight, only use clean hands to scoop out product, keep the lid on when not using. I do use a stronger preservative in my goat's milk lotion as I must do this to preserve the milk from spoiling. It is not considered natural but it is paraben free!

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE AN ORDER?

My production time is currently 1-2 weeks from the time your order is placed and arrives at my local post office to be shipped to you. This time frame truly varies as to how many orders I received the week before. We work on preparing orders twice a week and deliver to our local post office once a week. Please be patient as your products are being handmade personally for you!



IS WILLOW MOON FARM A CERTIFIED ORGANIC FARM?

Nope, we are Certified Naturally Grown! Which CNG has stricter guidelines then Certified Organic. Our commitment to you is to NEVER use any pesticides, herbicides or any other chemcicals in our gardens and to use only Organic Non-GMO seeds.
